CAST · GREAT EXPANSION METHOD

Bring one question,
cast a hexagram.

Set one of fifty stalks aside, use the remaining forty-nine to form each line through three changes, and build the hexagram from the bottom upward. Read only after all six lines are formed.

01 · THE QUESTION

Ask clearly, then cast.

Name the situation you are actually facing. “What is worth seeing clearly here?” usually gives the text more room than a bare yes-or-no question.

02 · YARROW-STALK CASTING

Set one aside, then form six lines with forty-nine.

Choose one stalk as Taiji, then form each line through three changes. Six lines make the hexagram. The question remains editable until Line 1 truly begins.

THE HEXAGRAM IS FORMING
0/6Begin at the bottom.

Write the question first, then begin the cast.

Casting is not a one-click answer. It lets a structure appear gradually.
